Dr. Luis Castillo Sánchez is a podiatric surgeon specialized in treatments such as minimally invasive surgery for hallux valgus (bunions), claw toes, Morton’s neuromas, plantar fasciitis surgery, flat foot surgery, and heel spurs. He also performs surgery for ingrown toenails, biomechanical gait analysis and custom orthotics, laser treatment for onychomycosis, and growth factor application.

Furthermore, he completed a Fellowship at Louisiana State University (LSU) in New Orleans and is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Surgery (AAFAS) in the United States.

He combines his clinical work with teaching responsibilities. Currently, he serves as a professor at various universities, including the University of Barcelona, UManresa (UVic-UCC), and the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir.
Dr. Castillo is a board member of the Illustrious College of Podiatrists of Catalonia and a member of several podiatric associations.

ESPECTACULAR MIL GRACIAS Hace un año en marzo de 2022 me opero el doctor Castillo, Lluís. Y después de visitar a todos los traumatologos especialistas en pie de Barcelona así como a muchísimos podologos, sólo puedo decir GRACIAS tanto a él como a su equipo, espectacular trabajo y gran trato humano. Mi diagnóstico era de un neuroma de morton en el pie izquierdo muy doloroso y una cirugía abierta con osteotomia en segundo y tercer metatarsiano del pie derecho con osteosintesis, a lo que había que sumarle otro neuroma de morton en ese pie.Estaba a la espera de otra cirugia abierta y en todo ese tiempo llevaba ya 4 pares de plantillas diferentes. Entonces decubrí por Internet que existia la cirugía minimamente invasiva y fuí a visitar al dr.Castillo. En el minuto uno me dí cuenta que sabia lo que se hacía y todo lo que dijo el primer día se ha cumplido, me opero en marzo y en Julio estaba haciendo deporte (jugando a pádel) me hizo unas plantillas comodas y eficaces . La clínica es muy cuca y con todos los adelantos. Cuando te operan por las mañana y te escribe el doctor un wassap por la tarde para ver como estas ya te haces a la idea que tipo de profesional es. Hoy acabo de hacer la visita del año de la cirugía y sólo puedo decir GRACIAS, sigo a tope y hago vida normal y deporte sin dolor. No se pueden imaginar lo que era dolor cada paso, infiltraciones infructuosas, antiinflamatorios....una intervención anterior fallida. Mil gracias

El Dr Castillo és una persona tan professional com humana. M’ha operat el peu de galindons i neuroma de Morton i no puc estar més contenta amb tot el procés. Amb unes instal-lacions fantàstiques que completen la Clínica i un gran equip professional que l’envolta, començant per la Victòria i també en Carlos, Jaume i segur que em deixo algú més.
